Winter tire size and rear/front pressure (psi)
When I had my winter tires (xice 3s) and rims put on recently I noticed that the shop inflated the tires to 35psi front and back. Page 266 of the owners manual clearly sets out the recommended cold tire pressure ratings for front and rear tires based on size.
I'm curious to know if you guys/gals are paying any special attenion to this and if this is something you think I should correct.... what are the implications of leaving them the way they are. 225/50 R 17 98 H This is my tire size so based on the manual I should be inflating the tires to 33PSI front and 41PSI rear? one day all four of my tires were low. i kept resetting the meter because i thought it was wrong. all of my tires were at 22 psi. i put air in them and they are all at 35 psi. seems fine to me. i don't know why they lost pressure though, maybe the hurricane.
