I am very impressed with the fuel consumption of my 428x Drive. Last 10 days or so we had mild temperatures in Colorado and at 5k miles my car is definitely done with the break-in period. So here is the picture of my trip computer summary.



With the 15.8 gallon tank, 500+ miles driving range is quite possible.

Oh and back in Europe I had a 1.4 tsi (160 hp) 7-speed DSG front wheel drive VW Golf, which was several hundreds pounds lighter. That car was getting almost exactly the same mpg. Bravo BMW bravo

I drove from Irvine to Scottsdale in my 335 and hit 450 miles on a tank. Pretty impressive since I average around 18 MPG with my normal driving.
