The other cars I've owned:
1996 Mitsu Mirage coupe - had Intrax springs, huge fart can, stickers. My first car and it was a tank - sold it with 185k miles and it was still going strong. Can't find any pics of my computer. 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege - FMIC/intake/exhaust, tune, springs, short shifter, motor mounts, etc etc. Had the car for over 6 years and did pretty much everything possible to it. Fun car. 2013 WRX - KW V1s, Cobb AP, exhaust, short shifter, a few other small things. Went through a couple sets of wheels. Last edited by theEZV; 02-24-2016 at 12:41 AM.. |

We'll see. For now it's staying relatively stock power wise. The car has plenty of go stock, that's why I wanted a 335 instead of a 328.
I've got to do some more research into the reliability of these cars when modded. There's no doubt it's very tempting, especially with there being plenty of e85 available around here. Maybe next year. |

A few small updates, not much.
Still regret not picking up a new Sti at times. One of the things I hated most about my WRX were all the rattles and creaks from the interior plastics. Well, my F30 is not much better. Can't imagine what it's going to be like once the coils are on. Sigh. Hopefully once the modding really starts I'll feel better about this car. KW V1s are on the way. Probably going to order the Borla ATAK this week. I really want the AWE w/midpipe, but it's hard to justify the extra $500. Can't make up my mind on the wheels. Still leaning towards the Graphite VFF103, but just can't pull the trigger. $3200 shipped to my door for new wheels/tires/tpms all mounted up and ready to go is not bad. Also picked up a set of the new Conti DWS 06 a while back, but did not put them on. Guess they'll sit around until the fall - I'll be mounting them on the stock wheels and using them as my winter setup. |

I think you may need to fix it as my car doesn't rattle at the slightest, quiet and comfortable (unless you go high rpms and then not quiet.) |

The interior plastics - dash, a pillars, etc. They creak/rattle a bit when you go over bumps/rough roads, etc. Not anything mechanical. It's not a huge problem, just annoying for a car with a large price tag. Need to get my hands on some felt and go to town.

Might have some loose things, get it checked out. My roommate has a 2011 STI, and I know rattle and creaks, and his STI rattles like it's about to fall apart. |

KWs will be here on Wednesday.
Nobody has the Borla ATAK in stock, and it's on back-order for about 6-8 weeks. Trying to decide whether to wait or to get the S-type instead. Been considering the MPE but I think I'd like something a bit more aggressive. |

You can try AWE tuning, their exhaust sounds just as good or better than the Borla. |

The AWE sounds incredible, but it's hard to justify the extra $600 over the Borla. All I'm looking for at this point is the sound, haven't decided yet if I want more power.
It's very tempting. I could just get a catless DP, JB4 on map 2 and it would be a very quick and fun car. Ugh. |

I haven't touched tuning yet as I still need the CP and springs. Chargepipe will crack if you run higher boost, so that's something you need to get before tuning. And springs help with acceleration (nose up during acceleration) and nose dive during braking. |
