How to order M-sports brake kit

Hi everyone,

I bought a 340i with a standard brake kit. I would like to replace it by M-sports brake kit (not Mp brake). I have sent this inquiry to some dealers. Before getting their feedbacks, can anyone give a rough price guide about full M-sports kit for 340i? Can`t find any information on web..

Also, BMWsydney says they can only offer Mp brake because BMW never offers M-sports kit. This is out of my understanding. If M-sports brake kit is not available, then how can those cars (equipped with M-sports brake when out of factory) service and replace their M-sports brake?

You replace the brake pads/rotors and change the brake fluid, the calipers don't get replaced.

They are selling you the M Performance brake kit because it comes as a whole retrofit kit, you can buy the M-Sport blue brakes part by part and it will likely be less cost-effective once you add all the loose items..

That sounds like a possible way. Mp brake is said to have inevitable noise due to drilled and slotted structure, don't know if it's true.

Get part numbers on realoem then order from Schmeidmann or FCP Euro. Whoever is cheaper including shipping.

That is what turned me off....

For all intents and purposes - if you have a 340i - no caliper change - you'd get almost all the benefit from just a pad change? Except appearance.
