Satellite radio only available with Premium Package?
Is this a joke? I'd end up having to pay $2k for sat radio. Someone tell me this is a mistake...as I cannot select it separate from the Premium Package (328i Sport).

The dealer was able to add it separately for me (new from July apparently) and it's not available in the car configurator. It's something they can add at the end apparently, and it's about $400.

Satellite Radio is a dying breed (even though I subscribe)
I'm just concerned about the new IPhone and it's new 9 pin port - obviously it's going to be a add on for any car in production or already produced - but when ? Once 4G dominates - there will be no need for BMW apps package or satellite radio - your phones apps will do all the work |

That is exactly what I ended up doing. They just had to get the "licence" from BMW for $375. They did not charge me any labor only because I had an issue with the module that controls the wiper blades. The car needed to be reprogrammed either way. It includes 1 year subscription so its not too bad over all.
