If you watched the window when it is raining you will see a low-pressure zone all the way across the top of the window right back to where the gap in the seal is. There's a major low-pressure zone there in the noise you're hearing is the air being sucked out of the car up through the corner of the window. Here's a video of exactly what I'm talking about.

Put headphones on and listen to it see you can hear exactly what it sounds like in the side of your head while you're driving on the road. I drive 4000 miles a month and it's driving me crazy.

What are you doing to stop the noise each time? Are you pressing on the window, or using something to seal that area each time?

It's a piece of 8-1/2x11 paper folded 4 times. Insert into the corner and it blocks the air path.

I have looked and sure enough I have this increasing gap as I go up the rubber seal with it being flush tight at the bottom and easily noticeable by eye (no paper test yet) at the top...
