If you plug the VIN into the WW website it says something about clearing customs. Not sure what exactly it means though.

I don't know. I suspect its done in the customs process though. Yours was released 30 seconds before mine.

Going to give the BMW NA special sales dept. a call tommorow to check the status, if you need the number its 1-800-932-0831 they should be able to tell you if its on the way to the dealer.

BMWNA Sales said to check back end of business day tomorrow.

BTW my dealership has been of very little help since I signed the sales papers two weeks before my ED.

I got mine last night. It's even better than i expected! i can't say enought good things about it.

The quality of ride is just amazing. The handling, accelertion and stopping, eveything is just marvelous. I am so glad that i went with BMW instead of Audi.

Just called 1-800-932-0831 again, and they said the car was released on Tuesday and is waiting for my dealer to arrange delivery to Chicago. I have yet to hear from my dealer since I came back from Europe 4-5 weeks ago. Left them several emails and voice messages.

Once again, my dealership is useless.

go to track on bottom right, then on right side under cargo enter your vin.
