I'm so sorry for betraying how American I am, but a freakin' diesel station wagon? In M sport trim?
C'mon, this is a car for guys who are, ahem, managed by females and who think all that M sport trim can wash away the fact that a diesel dies at 5000 rpm.

Dude come on. The engine is great. For the torque it offers at that consumption, its a beauty. Also not everyone can afford to go all out 335i. You might be right for the msport trim tho. Im not sure i would bother with that for a wagon, although it looks quite good.

Body style and trim is a matter of personal taste for sure. I like it but can dig that others don't. But the engine is a different matter. One has to drive the 3.0 liter turbo-diesel to appreciate it. I have driven both the high end gas (petrol) and the diesel, and the diesel is no slouch by any means.

And what's wrong with having a sporty looking wagon? The 330d is a sporty car, and not everyone who wants the wagon wants the base looking styling

Lets face it - BMW is making truly great R6s. The rest of the line is not that great. http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...19/index2.html Man, I can talk about bmw L4 diesels all day, trust me they are mostly crap.

*Redneck* lol . For us in Europe it's a little different. If we could get gas at $4 to $5 a gallon, I guess we would agree. But at $8/gal things change a little. And car companies even say that the station wagons are the more sportier looking model they build. I don't completely agree with that but some models look better as a "station wagon" as you call it.

I am absolutely a BMW purist, but make no mistake, I would also absolutely buy this as a daily driver. 330d touring makes perfect sense as a DD, especially if I can get xdrive (Canada).
Unfortunately the chances of us seeing this car are 0. We'll get more engine options for the X1 before we see a 330d or 335i touring. We'll also never see it in manual.

single oval the exhaust tip). They pay similar prices for those cars (maybe even more) than you did for your 335i. If you were spending that kind of money, wouldn't you want it to look good? No hate, I'm just defending those Europeans on the forum who have diesels, because in truth, those motors have their benefits as well.
