BMW M3 - New Car Prep and Glass Coating

New Car Prep and Glass Coating - BMW M3 Black Sapphire Metallic

2016 BMW M3 gets a new car prep and glass coating installation.

This brand new BMW M3 in Black Sapphire Metallic is coming in for a new car prep and Modesta Glass Coating. The customer brought us the car just the way we like it, a detailer's dream come true an untouched vehicle from the dealership with all the wrappings left on it just as the factory delivered it. Getting the car into your trusted detailer this way in most cases will save the detailer a lot of time correcting what the dealer may put in during a vehicle prep.

Our customer was very keen on a long lasting durable shine, so we suggested a glass coating, in this case we choose Modesta BC-05.
A little bit on Modesta Glass Coating -

Modesta Coating protects your vehicles paint from all kinds of damage including wash-induced damages, scratches, oxidation, sap, watermarks, salts, acids and even permanent ink and paints.

Its strong water-repellent properties also promote the self-cleaning effects producing longer lasting depth & shine.

Here is a list of products used on the interior.

Nanolex Interior Cleaner
Leather Master Strong Cleaner
Leather Cleaner Protection Cream
Nanolex Glass Cleaner
1Z einszett Gummi Pflege Stift Rubber Care Stick
Metro Jumbo Vac n Blow

Defelsko Paint Meter
ScanGrip Multimatch Light
2 Grit Guard Buckets with Caddies
Adam's Firehose Nozzle
Metro Air Force Blaster

Car arrived with all the wrappings a detailer's dream come true.

Remove all the wrap from the factory and inspect the car

Remove all left over adhesive and prep the car for wash and decon. A great product for this would be Stoner's Tarminator or Auto Finesse Obiltarate

Exterior -

Wheels and Tires

Using Kenotek Wheel Cleaner Ultra + FallOut Remover for the wheels

Kwazar Orion Super Pro Pump Sprayer containing 1Z einszett W99 used to hit the dirty wheel wells and tires

Decon/Clay

Wash

Rinse

To ensure that we do not install more light scratches or swirls we would blow of the water with a Metro Air Force Blaster 8 HP Pro

After some compounding and polishing (sorry no photos) we proceeded to

Modesta P-01A Primer

Modesta BC-05 installed now under heat lamps

Afters

Sun shots
