335d xDrive M Sport 5dr Step Auto
Hi All
I am new here please excuse me if I have not posted correctly. I have been offered a business lease on this vehicle one of many leases I have had. I don't want to start a leasing debate ;-) Here are the details £225.09 +vat per month over 23 months deposit: £2025.81 +vat I won't post any links as I don't want to cause any moderator issues. This seems like a really cheap deal to me for quite a lot of car. I just have a few questions: 1) I have been unable to view/drive a 335d GT anywhere, is the spec the same as the 320d M-Sport but just a bigger engine? 2) I have driven many RWD BMW vehicles, does anyone have any experience of X-drive with a vehicle with this type of performance? Thanks for any help you can give. Chris |

hi rapid64k
Thanks for the advice, this is what I thought really. I did try a 320d M Sport and did like it, I didn't think it was as agile as other BMW's I have driven but that isn't my main priority any more. Looks like I have a 330bhp 4.7 second decision to make today ;-) Cheers Chris |

Seems like a no-brainer - deal seems sound and as for the car, you will not regret it... My current 335d GT was the first xDrive I've owned (had two previous 35d engined BMWs) - always been an advocate for RWD but the xDrive is almost essential with the 35d as without it the engine management is always intervening (too much) to maintain good traction when you are trying to pull away sharpish (in the wet or dry) - with xDrive it just goes...
As for spec I think there will be a few extras as standard on the 35d that wouldn't be on the 20d - most notable being the sports auto box & paddles which is excellent. You also get metallic colours at no extra cost and servotronic steering - I think that is about it. I've never driven the 2.0d but I can imagine there would be a very noticeable difference between the two! |

thanks Lethbridge, this is the type of advice I was after.
Because this will be my main mode of transport for commuting it needs to work in the wet, ice, snow so x-drive seems to tick those boxes. I built the same vehicle on BMW build and checked all the standard extras, sports auto box being one of them and the basic sat nav plus some other bits. Like you say its a no brainer at this price, just completed the forms all being well new 335d X-drive GT owner here. |
