Sport line without sport pkg?
I recently purchased a F30 335i sport line RWD, it is fully loaded except HUD to my knowledge. However, I feel that the suspension on the car is awfully soft and not as stiff as my E92 328xi with sport package?
So my question is, is it possible to have sport line fully loaded and to not have sport suspension? How can I tell if my car has the sport package or not? The documents they gave me is not very thorough and may have left something out. Correct me if I am wrong, but am I pretty fully-loaded aside from having HUD and it being M-Sport? I am a sucker at reading the abbreviations, thanks!

On a certain level it almost feels like my dad's 2000 323i non Sport feels stiffer. But i think the new suspension is just part off the evolution. You don't feel every paint line, crack and pebble in the road, but the bastard will corner like it's on rails.

No, you'd have Sport suspension if your car is indeed Sports line.
Adaptive M and VSS options would help your car feel more like your E92. Try using Sport mode on console button. |

sport line = sport package, which includes Passive M suspension. You're pretty well equipped, but far from "fully loaded." Go on BMW's website and do the "build your own" to see available options if you want to see what you do/do not have. That said, you have it, I wouldn't bother worrying about what you don't have.
As far as the suspension, do a search on here for Adaptive M Suspension, plenty of info on that, part of the dynamic handling package starting in 2013. Allows you to adjust the suspension, which also means in Sport mode it is stiffer than the passive M that comes with the sport line standard. More to it than that but bottom line is that is the option for stiffest factory suspension, Adaptive M suspension in sport mode. |

Actually, in Canada, the Sport line does not come with the sport suspension unless you select it as a $400 option. Hard to believe but confirmed with my own vehicle. Suspension is soft compared to my E90 335 with sport suspension, but i am getting old and don't mind.

absolutely no doubt that the sports suspension has softened up dramatically from the E9x bodies out of the box. I've owned an E92 335i sport and a 135i M-Sport...and they are much firmer out of the box. Yes, M-Adaptive suspension allows you to dial it in a little firmer but the entire setup, in general, is simply more mature and soft as also documented by many magazine reviewers of late. Also, putting the car in sport mode, only tightens up steering and makes throttle sharper...nothing to do with suspension unless you have the M-Adaptive setup.
I recently drove a friend's 2011 E93 335i M-Sport that is completely stock and it feels so much, lower, tauter, and stiffer than my 2013 335i F30 M-Sport /w 19s on Hankooks and Sport Mode...we're talking night and day stiffer.

The feel of driving on the street is a misconception. Take the same cars on a track for a true evaluation. And i dont mean drag racing lol. |

If you have the vin number, you can check it online http://bmwvin.com/ it will list all the detail from the car, even the production date.
I had my offer last friday, 335i sport line with PMK. How many discount have you got? I only offered a 2012 f30, since the dealer give me a lot discount. Mine was made on June 26, and I won't have the new navi-system. By the way, BMW CA is really cutting the some equipments. WTF to BMW CA. |

Nothing to add here from what others have said, other than I was thinking you got ripped off. Then I realized you were in Canada and it made more sense. I have your options plus a few and my MSRP was about 4k less than yours.
