Changed 2014 435i F32 from 15mm to 20mm rear spacers with OEM 19" Wheels

I've changed out the rear spacers from 15mm to 20mm and it seems to fill out the wheel well perfectly now with zero rubbing. BTW, running H&R Super Sport Springs.

The fitment looks perfect with 20mm rear spacers.

Just for clarification you added a 15mm spacer after you bought the car or it came with the 15mm spacer from the factory?

OEM factory does not have spacers. I first purchased 15mm in back and changed it to 20mm. 20mm seems perfect, been driving around for 2 months and no rubbing and looks great.

This gives me a bit more confidence that my 19x9.5 ET35 rims should be able to fit without fender roll.

Very nice.

Are you still rubbing in the front or did you change those spacers?

Still rubbing on front... Alignment made it much better, fender roll helped too, but still rubbing....

Okay, now I'm looking for new black wheels. Looking for an aggressive 20" setup. I'm thinking Avante Garde M310 or M359.

rear 255/?? R20 - 20x9 ET ??
front 285/?? R20 20x10 ET ??

Any thoughts?

What size spacers are on the front?

How has it been since posting? Still no rubbing even with people in the rear?

I'm trying to work out what to get on my F32 m sport with the same wheels.

The lower ride height from the aftermarket springs apparently is bringing the camber/outer edge of the rim in enough to warrant a thicker spacer. Very interesting.

I have a stock DHP-equipped sDrive 335 with 15mm spacers and my tires protrude at least as much.

I removed my front wheels spacers today, had too many issues with rubbing. The option would have been to change to less aggressive H&R Sport Springs (instead of super sport). The rubbing is all gone now! I still have the 20mm spacers on the back and never had an issue there, but it does look a bit "funny car" like now.

Will the camber on the sport springs create severe un even tire ware?

...or maybe the 4-series has more room inside the fender than the 3-series?

I'm shopping for spacers for my 2015 Gran Coupe and having trouble making a decision on sizes. i'll probably go aggressive based on the OP being happier with 20mm in the back. I'm struggling with the front size...

Yes definitely. Actually had my rear tire blow out on the highway last week after 11,000 miles. Outside of tread looked great, steel threads showing on inside. Run flats don't work well, bent the rim driving off the highway. What a pain.

Ouch. Pretty scary no doubt at any speed.

I also have the super sports and am concerned about this. I think I will leave my winter set up without spacers and get M5 reps with 9.5 ET38. That should fill the gap a bit more than my OEM 442M wheels I think.

Do I need to ask my mechanic to do anything with the wheel camber to maintain as even tire wear as possible?
