Hi All

I have done so much reading on E-Sys but i am struggling to find the answers i need.

Ive manage to code a few things now eg: door handle lights on when in reverse, start/stop remember last setting, stereo turn off when opening the door.

The bits im struggling with are the comfort access bits i cannot get the mirrors to fold on lock and i cant get the windows to close when holding the lock button. ive tried using the cheat codes built into the E-Sys program ive tried doing it manually following the guides on here.

i wanted to do beeps on lock but i dont have a FZD module show up? does this mean i cant do it?

I would also like to disarm the seat belt reminder but i dont have the 3000 section of the ACSM

I also cant access the KOMBI section i just keep getting a error.

I am using E-Sys Pro 2.8 with a token i have the E-net cable

1.For the mirror to close also try setting active to KOMFORTOEFFUNG_FB.https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...5&postcount=13
2.For Kombi use "Detect CAF for SWE" method then choose the correct cafd and click code. Then try to edit it.
3.For seatbelt reminder try with the other cafd in the ACSM module.
4. For FZD module it maybe you don't have it. For beeps try in the idrive settings.

Hi All

Ive managed to fix a few of my issues after more reading and understanding how this E-Sys works the only thing i am stuck with now is the windows closing and mirrors folding on lock ive done it both following a guide and also using the cheat codes built into E-Sys but it still wont work?

Any help would be very grateful

I've got it working for the bits you have said except the FZD module I must not have that and I've done exactly the same as the link for the mirrors and I still can't get them to fold on lock they fold with the button on the door card but not on lock. Could not have the FZD module be the reason?

Mirror and and locking functions are controlled by FEM module. I don't think the FZD module has anything to do with locking functions.
First made a backup the the cafd files (specifically the FEM cafd file). Then use the "Detect CAF for SWE" for FEM then code it. Now start afresh starting with the mirror folding function.
If you want to restore your previous coding you did to the previous cafd, you can compare the two files then change it manually avoiding anything related to mirror and locking functions.
Post your cafd file i have a look at it.

If is this your original fa then you have FZD ecu for a sure.
In NBT read cafd and change
ACOUSTICAL_LOCK_CONFIRM=aktiv
Then you will be able to activate bips in nbt unit.
For mirror you will need to change wert in FEM
KOMFORT_SCHLIESSEN=wert=00

If you select read coding data the CAFD will be saved in the C:/Data/Caf. The cafd will saved as same name as the cafd name in the svt tree under the ECU module.

Thanks for your reply i managed to do the beep on lock on the F33 it seems to be under the DWA module

I still cannot get the mirrors to fold ive uploaded my CAFD if you could have a look please?

Under the KOMFORT_SCHLIESSEN it says UNKNOWN werte=00

If you can't see FZD ecu in esys then your svt is screw in vcm will need to write it again in car

About the FZD module, try read ECU instead of read VCM and check if comes up

HI there

I tried everything to get it working but i found a forum that said i dont have a FZD module but i have a DWA module so i went into the DWA and got the beeps on lock and unlock to work.

The only thing that wont work is the FEM-BODY doing the mirrors on lock and unlock and windows up holding the lock

Any help would be amazing

Just write it as is and set KOMFORT_OEFFNEN to 00
