As part of DHP, the msport suspension becomes "adaptive".
That's how mine is.
Cheers
If it has M-Sport suspension then it should sit 10mm lower. you can verify by entering the last 7 of your VIN at bmwvin.com

I agree most of the M sports are ordered and not found on the dealers lots

I've seen at least 4 in NYC, 1 red msport, 1 eb msport, 2 no line. The last 3 were all spotted on Staten Island. I'm not counting my own aw msport which would make 5

Both the msport a were 335s I haven't seen a 328 msport other than my own

Can someone who ordered an M Sport WITHOUT DHP please enter their VIN at bmwvin.com and tell us what suspension shows up?

Wrong.

http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=691811

Don't take my word for it, read the bloody ordering guide. M Sport line doesn't add sport suspension to xDrive models. On non-xDrive models the M Sport line includes the same 704 sport suspension as the Sport line.

This is correct. People need to quit making shit up and just read the official BMW ordering guide.

THANK YOU for clearing that up.

Howiegu got it wrong. (And, even worse, he's driving around thinking he's experiencing the sport suspension. And telling everybody about how it feels on forums.)

I'll be ordering, knock on wood, my second XDrive 3 Series this winter or next spring. I'm in heavy research mode. That's both fun and a nightmare. There's a lot of disinformation out there.

Some of my biggest angst is over the Sport Line vs. M Sport, the 328 vs. 335 question, and . . . to Dynamic Handling Package the new car or not.

I appreciate this forum greatly, because disinformation generally gets labeled as such. Pronto.

I mentioned earlier, I've yet to see a 335i on the roads.

And when I see 328i models, they usually don't have the Lighting package, so they're running the halogen DRL. Yuck. The LEDs make the car really stand out. Considering that 328i to 335i is probably 6:1, and less than half of those 328i cars will have LEDs, it's gonna be ugly yellow eyes on the road for the near future. Heck even Chrysler 200s have LED DRL!

Here in the Northern Denver area, I've only seen ONE F30 and I think it was a luxury.

Just makes me more excited to get my EBII M-Sport in a few days. I don't like looking like every other car on the road.

+1, front bumper looks cheesy to me, the sport just needs a lower splitter to be perfect IMO

Same here, mine is the only F30 335 I've seen, I can think of only 1 335 I've seen in the past 2 years actually... Lots of 328s, F30 and otherwise though, all without xenons.

in LA oddly i've seen mostly no lines like everyone else (hell particularly here).

one dealer actually told me that an m-sport is pretty hard to sell, because most of the i just want a BMW types obviously wont buy it . i've seen some luxury / sport line ones. i work in santa monica and just got back from lunch and actually saw one of each. a sport driven by some older woman oddly and a luxury buy a middle aged guy.

that said, never seen an m-sport on the street. and i've seen 1 335i ever on a lot.

Saw a luxury 328i today in mineral grey. And of course... It was a dealership loaner!

Eventually I won't be able to go 20 feet without seeing a 3 in Atlanta, as was the case with e46 and e90.

I was also deciding between the M-Sport and Sportline, I ended up taking the Sportline mostly because I wanted an Alpine White car with a lot of options and needed the car immediatley, the M-Sport was supposed to arrive 3-4 weeks later.

Love the car and the look! Although I do have a few extras that add to the look.

Pics to follow shortly.

Your 1st statement is correct, but your 2nd statement is not.

If you order Xdrive, #704 Sport suspension is deleted, even if you order DHP.

Agreed, both BMWUSA and BMW Canada websites are confusing, but a careful reading of the Ordering Guide will confirm the above.

Ordered 335i Sport Line for the wife, basically due to color. She wanted a darker shade of blue than Estoril so ordered Imperial. We did test drive a 328i M Sport (on the lot) first but the 6 cylinder won us over.

We both loved the M Sport steering wheel though. Wish it were an option on the Sport Line. There is one listed in the M Sport Accesories catalog but would be nearly 2k installed so we decided it wasn't worth that to us.
