B58 upgraded turbo question

Hello, I own a f30 340i 2016 and am interested in upgrading to a vargas GC turbo. I currently have a catless downpipe and a stage 2 bootmod3 tune, but am worried about the reliability side of things. I’m fairly inexperienced working on cars, so I would like to ask: Is it smart to upgrade the intake/fuel pump first or can I run reliably an upgraded turbo on oem parts?

Reliability will obviously be affected.Many b58 are daily drivers with bigger turbos tho and have minimal issues.(if done properly).
B58tu fuel pump will be needed.
