Driver prospects so far, I wish I could make a poll:
1. Alexander Rossi 2. Danica Patrick 3. Scott Speed 4. Nico Hulkenberg 5. Josef Newgarden any others? I'd like to see Danica and Hulkenberg as a team |

Please no Danica! She'll bring attention to F1 but she's well beyond her prime and over-rated as a driver. If it must be a girl, then Susie Wolf is a better prospect. If it must be an American, then Alexander Rossi is probably the best choice plus he already has a super license. I like the idea of Hulkenberg though -- a driver that deserves to be in a top tier team.
I would like to include Gutierrez and Perez too. Both of them because they have a huge Mexican following which would benefit Haas in North America. Gutierrez in particular because he's currently a reserve driver for Ferrari. |

Danica is overrated.
Alexander Rossi should be a good fit, as well as Estaban Gutierrez.

Gutierrez is a good choice. I'd like to see a female non-reserve driver in the mix so Patrick, Wolff, whomever

Gutierrez, Rossi, or Perez is my guess.
Kevin would be a great contender, if he wasn't tied up with McLaren.

This, and I wonder what MB wants for a season's worth of engines now that they've clearly identified themselves as the kings of the F1 power unit. Maybe they got a better financial deal with Ferrari.

IF Renault out, it will only have MB, Honda, and Ferrari power supplier. Even if a company commit to join today, it will take at least 18mo for them to even enter.

Career suicide, but at least he has the stones to give the new outfit a try. He'll probably be with them 2-3 years (where the highlight will be scoring a point or two), then off to another racing series entirely.

If GRO is chasing a team with championship aspirations his chances would have been a lot better staying at Lotus as they are about to be acquired by Renault and I would say Renault know a lot more about winning championships than Haas. Good pick up for Haas though, GRO will give them the experienced driver they've been looking for.

I think Grosjean is hoping for a jump to Ferrari after a few years. Haas has very close ties with them so maybe he figured it's worth the risk..?

Haas F1 relationship with Ferrari runs a lot deeper than many realize. They are basically going to be a Ferrari B-team. They were supposedly only going to be getting the engine and inner workings of the car from their big brother. But recently has come out their car is being developed in Ferrari's wind tunnel. Some people are even questioning Ferrari's recent speed, thinking Ferrari has been using Haas F1 development cars to test parts for their current car.
