I'm one of the few who prefers incandescent bulbs I think.

I'll take a $2 bulb change over $100.

4 series is a 35i. Trailing car is a most likely a 320d.

435i > 320d.

the dual tail pipes are very easy to identify.

You probably are. LED's should last a *very* long time, xenons are a bigger problem.
