Havana or Mineral Grey: which is more maintenance friendly?
On the verge of ordering a new F30, but not decided as far as exterior color is concerned.
My current E90 is black sapphire and impossible to keep clean in our climate, it always looks dirty and the number of swirls is incredible when the sun hits the car. So, no black this time around. I'm torn between Havana and Mineral Grey. Any idea which one of these two would be easier to keep clean? |

I have had a few cars in grey.. and they are quite maintenance friendly. I would believe that havana would be the same.. Mineral grey does leave some finger prints as it is still on the dark shade..
I do detail my car once or twice a week depending on what activities are on. Havana looks awesome too. Depends which you are swaying more towards. I love black but fear the maintenance so grey was an easy option for me and I have never been a fan of the havana shade of colours. |

I wondered this too. I saw them side by side at a local dealer, and it's very, very close. Both are on the darker side. But, compared to black, it's a walk in the park. Pick the color you like best. The maintenance will be nearly the same.

I have a car in a "Titanium Grey" right now and it looks clean no matter how dirty it really is. This made choosing Mineral Grey an easy choice. Both Mineral and Mojave are excellent colors and would require minimal maintenance. Choose your favorite!
