I saw it, I liked it, but kinda thought the comparison wasn't really fair at the end. It just demonstrates how well the e30 can handle if you put a spec racing series suspension and tires on it with a 2.7 motor in it.

I had a 325i Vert, and in some ways, I kind of miss it (mostly because of its awesome looks). But at the same time, I don't because now I've got 2 M3's in its place, and I just don't have the time, resource or room to keep the E30.

Now if you throw an E30 Touring in my face instead, I'd be allllll in. Great cars!

The BMW E30 was the first ever BMW I had been around and experienced when I was a kid. This video definitely got me grinning the whole time.

Nice comparaison! I highly doubt that the 340i has the track handling package but in the end it just remind me that we can't have the F31 with a 6cyl or a M/T...

That is pretty badass. Even that red coupe and convertible in that video were cool.

I try not to be an Audi fan, but if the RS4 avant came here I'm all over it.

Why? a 997 911 did about the exact same time. You can see the time got chunked up on those early apex tight corners. That's why cars in general are so varied and nuanced, and part of that is why enthusiasts keep coming back for more.
