4x4 trucks do tend to hold their value well after 4 years, but then again they are built to last a long time. It's common for people to pick up a 'work truck' that's 5 years old and keep it forever and just beat it up because they don't die and are fairly cheap to fix. But I digress... |

Run flats wont turn a 3 series into a 5 series not even close. I think someone should have done some more test drives. Listen I am 3 series all the way I wanted a sports car with some luxury, not a luxury car with some sport, so I am on your side.

I drive 2012 528xi and I considered a 3 series before. Here are a few points: - way more spacious than the 3 series. - very quite ride, you would not be able to hear the N20 at all (unlike in the 3 series). - interior, interior and one more time the upscale interior design and feel, the 3 series IMHO just looks very simple and plain, not elegant simple, but poor simple. - As far as sportiness goes, no way in the world is 535 underpowered. Ride will feel different than in the smaller car. You’re no longer in a go-kart, but in a luxury, sports cruiser. Go-karts will always feel faster, that does not mean they are. As far as 528xi goes, it’s a very “torquey” engine, gets you from 0-60 in 6.3 seconds, not entirely sure if you can tell the difference between 328xi and 5.7 seconds to 60mph, but maybe you can. I couldn’t. Good Luck !

That's very true...depending on the car. In my experience (I get a new car every 14-16 months), you're better off leasing if that is your situation. If your F30 is leased, swap your lease. If not, try to sell it privately at 15% off what you bought it. You'll still do better than trading it in. GLWS

Yes, the 328xi is faster, exactly 0.6 second faster, in my book that’s not “much faster”. Now with 550xi you’re talking M3 0-60 times. “(…) more Lexus then BMW” - Yeah, as of late calling a GS the new BMW (and vice versa) has been the name of the game for some car magazines, however I am yet to see a GS doing 0-60 in 4.7s (550xi).
