330d whats the going rate

Hello All,

Im in the market for a 330d m sport.

I dont mind a 2013 example(or newer if it allows) with sub 60k on it as i will be putting silly miles on it anyways.

As for options i want the m sport plus pack with heated seats.

Fairly flexible on colour, white, blue, black, etc.

What would be a the going rate on this car?
going by the valuations given on the 'whats my car worth' threads i should be looking anywhere between £14-16k.

but when looking on all the usual sites there doesnt appear to be much in this price range, should i be looking at paying more?

Thanks,

16k should get you into a decent 4 or 5 year old 330d

I'm in pretty much same situation as you and have been checking ebay and autotrader since January. Here's a typical example of one I saw.

Black 13 plate 330d msport with black leather, 36,000, adaptive m dampers and pro-nav, big 403m wheels, full history and looked in good condition. Advertised privately at £16,000 and was on for a while. Price steadily dropped down to £14,900 then within a day it dissapeared from autotrader.

I've recently put a deposit on a 13 plate 330d M-Sport with 39,000 miles and full service history, Pro nav, Harmon Kardon, Xenons and big 403m alloys and that was £15,900. They're putting 4 new tyres on it and giving it a fresh service and MOT and one year warranty etc.

I was going to buy privately but they hardly ever come up in superman spec (blue with red leather) which is what I really wanted. So when this came I was happy to pay a little extra.

Hope this helps.

The LCI has been out for almost 3 years now and you might just get one in your price bracket if you aren’t too fixated with spec. It’s a good spec anyway.

And my full fat 2015 330d M sport plus, pro nav etc.. goes back to BMW this Friday because the outstanding finance was £18,400.... which was way more than the dealer would give me for it..

I'd echo the idea for the LCI.

I've had a slightly different search for the past 6 - 8 weeks focusing on 2016-on and under 25k miles 330/335's. These start at around 17k+ for luxury trim models with standard spec. Basic M-Sport 18k+. Xdrive a bit more.

It seems anything competitively priced with a decent spec doesn't hang about for long. The local Arnold Clark here has a pre preped section where car can be seen before hitting their website. Might be worth keeping an eye if there's one near by.

good luck in your search

Thank you for all the replies. Very helpful.

Il have a look into lci though I doubt my luck is that good.

Seems like I need to be quick when I see the right one at the right price.

If anyone on the forum is selling there's and it matches the above criteria I wouldn't mind having a discussion.

Thanks,

Snap. My car goes back to my dealership this Friday so they can prep it for when the VT guy comes to take it. They're handling the handover back to BMWFS and I put my dealers name and number as a contact on my VT form.
