Finished M Sport Bumper Retrofit 328i xdrive

I've been thinking about doing this for a while and finally bit the bullet. Ordered the OEM M Sport front bumper retrofit kit from getbmwparts.com and had it painted and installed this week on my sport line 328i xdrive. It looks SO much better. Now I need to decide if I'll black out the kidney grills? I did have them paint the front and rear reflectors as well. So much better balance all around and no front license plate! Enjoy the before and after pics.

Looks great. How big of a job was it? I'm thinking of doing the same. Will probably have it done at a shop though, as I don't have a garage and my tool box is pretty weak. My car got hit last year and I am kicking myself for not having it done then at my insurance company's expense! Where in Virginia are you? I'm in Fairfax.

I just bought the retrofit OEM kit from getbmwparts, picked it up and dropped the kit and car at D&V auto body in sterling. 3 days later and about $700 it was done. Now just waiting for the black grills to install. Looks way better than stock bumper which I really didn't care for.

Ah, I know D&V. They are a great shop. They swapped out my B-pillars for matte black ones. Now I know what I am doing with my tax rebate! Thanks.

Isn't it amazing what that front bumper does to the car? It was the best money spent for me on the car.

Huge difference. Even the slight mod of the Sport Line model is a big difference from the Base Line.

Agreed. Now I need to put the black m perf grills as I think the chrome against all the black looks off.

I added the black grills and think it looks better than chrome.

What do you think?

Very nice. I added the black grilles right away. Goes nicely with the black trim.

$700 for parts and install? Or $700 + cost of the kit?
