I have just under 10,000 miles ... Thought to limit boost, not a bad idea. I agree with the shift from 1-2.... the engine revs so quickly that the tach cannot keep up .. sometimes it is embarrassing.

The product is NOT garbage. Almost 100hp for $600 is about the best BANG for your buck you will ever get. Let us nonMs dream a bit.... Making 360whp and 450wtq is fucking awesome. I was out this morning and raced a 991 Carrera S cabrio and was right next to it until about 85mph .. went to 130 and my engine cut-out AGAIN. Wish there was a speed delimiter for the Fseries ... would make life more fun (and dangerous). Open road as well, would never do that on busy street.

I don't shift before 6000 now during full throttle as I have managed to work around the shifts. If I do run into trouble I will limit boost. I am just going to get intake and call it a day. Will shoot for M3 as my next car lol ...

DO you think I need flex-fuel wires to run 100octane racing gas on map 7?

If you're already have slippage issues to deal with, I would not run map 7. I can only imagine how amazing map 7 with full bolt ons would be with a beefed up tranny. Would be a beast!

The slipping slowly went away. I stopped forcing it under high load and I suppose it fixed itself? I wonder if it had anything to do with the temperature. I got curious today and tried shifting at 4000 during full throttle and the ZF was able to handle it.

Going to let it rest a little longer then proceed to race gas and MAP 7 to keep up with the carerra S lol

Slippage won't go away, torque ratings are static.Sure maybe cooling off will help, but you're probably at it's max.
DCT from an M3/4 would hold more, which is clearly why they didn't offer the DCT to us.

any updates on this? did the map help smooth things over, I get slip as well in my 8 speed xDrive. I see in a few threads that the common denominator seems to be the xdrive...

What kind of torque are you pushing and in what gear do you get slip? I would expect the tranny to be loaded heavier in high gears with low rpm. I experienced some jitter from my car yesterday doing a 6th gear pull from around 2500rpm.

Not as awkward as quoting a 2.5 year old post. Besides, they still can't be flashed without first removing and unlocking the ECU.
