I'd get the 335i. I drive my car 99% of the time and not look at it, and the n55 will put a bigger grin on my face each and every time when I'm behind the wheel. I won't even know I'm not driving a coupe until I get out of the car.
You WILL feel like crap when you are next to an 435i though...if you really want the coupe I'd figure out a way to get a 435i so you're not regretting either not getting the more powerful car or the right body style. That is, until the M4 comes out. Don't you just love it, lol. Serious answer: F30 335i, because 1st paragraph. |

95% of my driving is alone
I had 4 coupe in the past Im looking to keep the car for about 6 to 7 years as well I got a 2013 335i, no regret here... In a year the coupe will be just another car on the streets, but not the 335i, that car is special

Great perspective here from everyone. If I true back to what I love most about BMWs, it's what's inside the car and under the hood - and the Driving Experience that gives me the most pleasure. A 335 engine meets that criteria hands down. I didn't initially go for the 335 because I felt the 328 was fast enough. But how fast is fast enough? Subjective. I suppose you can't have too much power, but you could have too little. The 435 is too pricey for me. If I get 335 sedan, I doubt I'll envy the 428 coupe.

I've settled on the 335xi. I have 2 to choose from - black sapphire with black interior with M sport, tech, prem, cold, Harmon Kardon. Or glacier silver with black interior, baseline model, prem, tech, cold, PDC, Harmon Kardon. The black cost $2400 more. I prefer the silver because it stays clean so well and looks good all the time. The black looks great when clean, but this car won't be garaged so it will show every spec of dirt and flaw., and it will be hotter in summer. I will miss the m trim interior, but I figure I can upgrade the steering wheel in future.
Or should I go for the black on black M sport and just deal with extra cleaning of the black? I've had black bmws before, but they were garaged. All opinions and advice welcome. Last edited by Lafinkel; 07-15-2013 at 09:21 PM.. |

I'd take a 2014 335. It has the new navigation, iDrive with touch pad, launch control, sailing mode, etc. My 2014 arrives next week.
