Channel 5 tonight - Grand Theft Auto UK
It's a repeat but it's quite good on car theft in UK.
Worth watching for some late night paranoia and just why tracker etc don't help when pros take your car. Invest in Glock & Gap, you will sleep better |

Yeah, just shows how people walk around looking for decent cars.
They are quite happy following someone if they are in a high value target. Just remember there is a container some place with your cars name on it On a happier note, at the rate 3 series sales are going, it will be that common even Eastern Europeans won't want to have one |

We have large metal gates about 30 feet from garage, so it's a bit of a deterent. Regarding the Sig, yeah nice, although any decent .38/.45 HP is very much a 'you can't come in' type of statement... |

Watched the programme. Thought it is already a bit out of date. That, or they didn't explain how Mr Big gets the cars.
I park mine in a locked garage outside the front door, we have a big dog and live at the end of a big cul de sac. My biggest concern is the keyless radio signal security flaw. I can only hope that this is fixed by BMW, or maybe I find a way of stopping somebody plugging in a key-maker into the computer port. |

What I particularly liked about this programme was the leg injury sustained from a car crash - as a result of stealing cars. Multiple trauma and post trauma NHS funded operations to help fix it and now unable to work and therefore living on benefits. Having just read my year end pay slip I feel great about the fact I've funded a lot of this guys activities.

I would just wake up in the morning feeling like the 'Urge to Purge' Road gangs are made for families like these. The transatlantic tunnel .... Could solve the problem for a few years. |
