I planning to install a front spoiler for my f30. However, i know that they use 3M tape to tape inside it. My question is "how can i remove it after few year?" and "will it damage the paint?"

heat it up with a heat gun and message it off, damage??? more than likely paint damage or you will break something, that tape is awesome..

So it will damage the paint? I just put a spoiler on with 3M and don't want to ruin the trunk paint

When I installed mine, i wrapped the locations on the bumper that will have contact with the 3m tape, so when I need to remove the lip it would pull on the wrap instead of the paint

what peel of the paint? no way...installed my F30 lip without any issues, also going to install my CF rear trunk lip with 3m double sided..

I had CF splitters on my old E46 M3 held on with 3M take. They came off without peeling my already wrecked/rock chipped paint. Just left a little adhesive residue that came off with a clay bar.

Removal of 3M tape will not damage OEM paint - might damage new paint if you had a repaint & it was not given a couple months to cure

I had rear spoiler & front spoiler attached to my E92 with 3M tape for years, removed them when I traded in the car.

As stated, used a heat gun + fishing line in a sawing motion to release the tape bond. Some tape residue left on paint - nothing a little GooGone couldn't take car of (and the spoilers were not damaged either)

As long as you don't force anything, you will be fine. Just be patient and keep heating/working it until it comes off but don't burn the paint, keep feeling it with your hand as you go.
