Multifunction Display

I put the car into Sport+ and also manual for the first time yesterday and saw that on the outside edge of the tacho coloured segments appear and change colour from yellow to red as the revs reach their optimum.

This doesn't happen in Auto only manual and Sport +

Thought I would mention as it's pretty cool and I didn't realise it did it.

Anyone else seen this on their car

Would take a photo but I was busy with the paddles

Thats quite cool. Must be on newer cars only.

I have the full MFD which was an upgrade from the standard dash, not sure if you have the same

Makes sense. My car is too old and I'm not paying to retro fit!

I thought you could get MFD in an 3 series or am I mistaken?

Tried it on the way home with my 2018 F31 with the MFD.

I had no lights as described.

I wonder if it's due to coding m performance at start up or something else??

Has to be in sport+ and manual gear change, will get a photo up when I have a passenger as it's quite cool
