245/45R18 on 18x8
Hello! Does anyone have any experience running 245/45R18 size tires on stock 18x8 wheels on a 328i GT? I've already made the decision to ditch the run flats, and I'm looking at Michelin pilot sport AS3+ all around. I know there are posts about 245/40 size, but I'm trying to keep the overall diameter about the same as stock (225/50), and the 45 series would be a closer match. Plus, I'm trying to say with the correct load rating, which means the 45 series in this tire.
Just wondering about possible rubbing issues and/or concerns with the x-drive?? Seems like the GT has more wheel well space than the sedan, so I'm thinking it should fit no problem, but.... Looking for your thoughts.... Thanks for your input! FYI - I'm new to posting to this forum, but have done some searching - found some really good info here - thank you!! |

oem f34 225/50/18=26.9"
although i am not as informed about F34's, there should be no issue with 245/45/18=26.7" another possibility is 235/50/18=27.3", i speculate no issues as well but not 100% certain |
