Rallye isn't taking new customers?
So I called up Rallye BMW yesterday for my first service and was told they aren't taking new customers. Has anyone else experienced this?

I didn't buy it from Rallye bought it from Hassel. Hassel doesn't have the best reputation but I have nothing negative to say about them. The only thing I needed done was the first oil change and replacement wiper blades.

I bought my car from Hassel as well and trust me, they SUCK ASS! I will be going to Rallye some time next week to check on this as it sounds very strange. I actually plan to have my car serviced at Habberstad (yes I know it's far) because I've heard nothing but good things about them.

for anyone looking for great (and im great service) give Competition BMW a call. They are in smithtown which is a ways away but I've never left unhappy. Greg and Jackie are awesome!

this is not unheard of. Life Quality did the same shit to me when my car broke down RIGHT INFRONT of their dealership. they're just assholes to anyone who is not their customer

That's correct. Rallye is NOT taking in any new customers. I've been with them since 2009 and know everyone there by name and I still couldn't get my cousin in who didn't purchase the car from them.
They're just way over capacity for their service area. Unbelievable, but they need to expand yet again.

you are consider new customer when you get a new car thats not from their dealership..im on my 4th bmw, all previous bmws have been serviced by rallye.. smh

They told me the same thing when I called and said I bought from another dealership. They wouldn't even give me a time frame of when they would be available for new customers.

Thats weird. Rallye took my 750 in on 8/29. It had never been there before, as I normally go to Bayside, but they had no problem taking it in and working on it. I didn't buy from them. They did service my 540 back about 10 years ago, but I doubt that mattered.

I've been able to go there [Rallye] and had my brother in for service as well recently. They do a lot of high volume sales and as a result run at full to near-full capacity most of the time. However, it all comes down to talking to a service advisor who knows the dynamics of the dealership and is able to tell you straightforwardly if there is space to accommodate you or not for your requested service appointment. The guy I deal with is excellent I never come or leave disappointed. Give him a call and he will make sure to help you out as best as possible. if interested, Pm me for his info, I don't want to circulate it publicly.
