Hi everybody, did somebody retrofitted touch controller on business HU?
Is it possible or only on professional unit it will work?

Thanks, but this doesn't have the touch function.
I already have the knob and the control unit but, before disassemble the car, I'd like to know if it will work or there's no choice at all.

The touch function sucks in my opinion. It's too slow. I never use it.

The touch function will work only on NBT.
So you have to change the Head unit too with NBT or NBT EVO in order to have the touch working.

I retrofit touch idriver with HU_ENTRYNAV.
It works perfect, You have to code if you want to use touch.

Thank you Jalami, yesterday I tried, I've installed controller and control box, then coded the four lines with E-Sys.
Controller is working perfeclty but, unfortunately, exactly like the OEm one, this mean I don't have touch functionality.
I don't understand where the problem is, the controller lights up and works correctly but I don't have the controller line in the settings menu.
In E-Sys I see the TBX in the ECUs tree but with all black dots, maybe I have to inject the CAFD in the TBX?

Ok, the problem was the one from my previous post, I injected CAFD on the ECUs and everything now is working with touch function.

Top tip: you can also change the display to the bigger one.

For us having the entrynav, will the touch function work if we just put the new controller and just fdl code, or the touch module ecu must be installed?

Also the TBX ECU has to be installed to have the touch function. Without this you only have same function as the OEM one but with larger knob.

I know, it's alreay on my to do list, after folding mirrors and surround view cameras.
The only doubt is about the cameras, someone say that will not work with Entrynav and I must upgrade to NBT, someone else say tht it will work, I 'don't know.

I already have the hardware, only miss the wiring, as soon I found it I'll try and see if I have to install NBT also, if not I will upgrade only the screen for sure.

On the online configurator you can select the option without adding professional navigation. Don't know if that helps you

For everybody's information, finally I retrofitted surround view cameras on HU_ENTRYNAV with small 6,5" and everything works as OEM, I'm very satisfied. Only the screen should be upgraded, as soon I find one pricey.

Hi, sorry for delay I've been out for a while; to answer you question: Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Left-Click on desired ECU => Click on "Detect CAF for SWE" => Select the CAFD from latest I-Level shown (bottom one) => Select OK => Right-Click on ECU (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE. that's all
