Bmw performance Recaro bucket seats...

Hi people

I own a 135i 2010 coupe and I have the official BMW Recaro alcantara racing seats fitted currently. I've heard these seats are worth some money, does anyone have an idea as to how much they are worth?
I was thinking about swapping them out for standard leather seats if it's worth it..

Jack

They're worth however much you sell them for. Search eBay for similar items and base your price on that.

Do you think they are something people would be interested in?
Is there no ball park figure out there?

Do you have a pic of the seats . If your are selling the front seats alone colour will affect your potential buyers.

I've attached seat photos, they are black with white BMW stitching, original factory fitted by BMW

Purely speculating, but based on interior seat prices from my e92 335i I would think a rare option like that would go for a minimum of $1200 for the pair. I say this because the sport seats generally sold for $800 to $1000 for the pair in nice condition. These were essentially standard seats with side bolsters, nothing as special as what you have there. In all honesty it wouldn't shock me to see someone to pay $2000 for the pair, simply because some of the special edition alcantara steering wheels go for $1000+ from BMW performance. Those seats are beautiful and rare. It's all about finding the right buyer

I've seen a few of these for sale back on the forums back in my E46 days. They always generated a lot of interest. My rough estimate would be $1500.
