CD/Multimedia - USB
Ok so from my understanding the only place I can plug my iPod in USB so i can play it through my IDrive is in the middle console arm rest?... but I know there is another USB plug in front of the passenger seat, in the storage compartment... is there a way to get idrive to be able to read any USB in the car?

The USB in the glove compartment is essentially for data transfer to the IDrive. To play music with the iPod, you need to use the one in the center armrest using a flexible adapter cable. In ours, I use the Y-cable that came with the owner's package which connects to both the audio input and the USB input.
