'13 328i m-sport ED ordered!

Finally put in my order today!

CA said its very likely I can do the ED pick up by mid Aug. Not sure how much I can trust him on that but I definitely don't mind picking it up in Aug if that's possible.

I need to start planning my trip!

I know i know I didn't order the sunroof but I didnt really use it in any of my cars and since I am going to lease, I decided to skip it this time.

Yeah, I think it will be more than likely a mid to late Sep ED. Thanks.

Not sure if the x line makes a difference. I placed order 328xi M Sport) just after pricing quide came out but was told earliest possible ED delivery date was 11 Sept. After 3-4 weeks of waiting to get the production week (week 27, i.e. first week of Jul and likely first week of production) I checked again on ED and then was told earliest ED would be 15 Sept. Either of these dates worked well for us so we are trying for a PCD in mid August.

First ED for MY13 F30 RWD is August 13

First ED for MY13 F30 AWD is September 10

The BMW plant in Munich is closed between the August 13-24. However, the Welt is open for deliveries. The factory tours restart August 27, which is why I delayed mine.

Congrats man! Looking forward to the trip details and pics. I'm planning to take delivery via ED next year. What're you thinking of for the itinerary?

Got my production # and they set the delivery date to 8/20. I tried to look it up on the web but I couldn't find anything that points me to the 8/13-24 shut down. I'm confirming with my CA and if that is the case, I'll need to reschedule to early Sep. So excited to at least get a prod #

Congrats. I'm picking up on 8/20 too (12:40pm to be exact) - I booked my flights before I learned about the factory shutdown, but I'm not too disappointed about missing out on the factory tour...I probably would have skipped it anyway...I just want the damn car ASAP!

June 4, 2012 until including June 8, 2012

Thanks, my CA just confirmed no tours on 8/20. I'm having him to change it to 9/10 or 9/17.

I want to visit Porsche and MB museums on my way to Nürburgring. Anyone have done that while doing a BMW ED? It does sound a little weird but I don't know if I'm going to do another ED in the near future.
