If you look at the poll results, one person has reported that that is what showed up on their car.

The dealer has no control over what tires show up from the factory. However, they might be willing to swap them for you. I would kinda expect them to charge you something for doing so, though.

If you are getting a staggered setup, then the tires will be summer tires, not all season. That is true no matter what brand the tire is.

Pretty much all of these tires are new enough designs that they should perform well. The Bridgestone S001 might be better than the Perelli P7, but I have been unable to find a published comparison which states that.

So far, it looks like Pirelli is edging out Continental as the most common brand.

Excellent idea.

I would like to add though, like the other tires the Pirelli Centuratu P7 runflat comes in both AS and HP summer.
Your poll doesn't ask for that distinction.

It would be good to also know if the tires are all season, summer perf, or UPH perf, or whatever they are.

If the Msport has the AS tire option.

I have a 335i Msport with 18's staggered/mixed with summer tires.
I hope BMW actually puts real summer performance tires on the Msports and not the grand touring summer perf tires.

But, I'll be changing them in October anyway to non RFT's.

It'll be interesting to see what the Msports actually get for summer tires.

Here's the P7 high perf summer:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....Speed+Rated%29

Not many reviews, but what there is isn't great, nor good.

There is also a P7 AS with better reviews: This is a grand touring AS tire.

even the pirelis in UHP seem soft as hell and not nearly agressive enough.

im hoping my car comes with contis or even better bridgeston S001

Tires are on the MY 2013 335i xDrive.

The S001 RFT is a Max perf summer tire, so it should handle great.
Wear rating is not so good, to be expected though w/Max perf tires.

I'm impressed that they put these on an xdrive. Great!

Right now TireRack doesn't show a staggered 18" set for either tire.
But, Msport is new and TR not be showing all new available sizes.

I would think, expect, that BMW would put the best summer perf tire on the Msports. But then, BMW does wacky things at times.

I'll let you know what I get hopefully by next week or early the next.

225/45/18 Continental CSC 5 SSR's on all four corners.

I've read and heard that the 5's wear quickly.

Of course, depending on how liberal one applies one's right foot will influence this I'm sure

Not that I was anxious or anything. As soon as I finshed what I was doing at work, I drove up to see the car. Totally dirty , unprepped (pics attached) but they did open it up and I sat there for awhile soaking in the new car smell. Did not get a good interior pic but the fine line anthactice trim is very nice.

I phone shots. Will psot real pics when they are done with my minor "mods" and make the car phot op worthy.

They have a few things to do for me. Probably p/u Wednesday on my day off.[ATTACH][ATTACH]Name: photo.JPG

Can someone confirm that ALL 3ers bound for the US have RFTs? They're either the summer performance or the all-seasons, but RFTs nonetheless, correct?
