I had ONE JOB! De-pin this!!! …….
I snapped the locking bit off it…..

Never worked out how to open it…
can anyone advise???

In left side row of windows - use a small screwdriver to push down on the little metal tab of the contact while pulling out the wire at the same time

Don't put tension on the wire (pull out) until you have the tab depressed

Best if you push IN on the wire, push down on the little clip, then pull out the wire

It’s the bit you have to lift to unlock that I snapped off…. I dunno how to open it and a bit fell off 🤦🏻&zwj;♂️

The locking clip u broke off is just the 2nd line of defense that holds the contacts in - you still need to do as I described as the tabs on the contacts you see thru the window are catching on inside of plastic connector housing

I know that BUT I ordered a new one from BM and I’m picking it up tomorrow so need/ want to know how to open the little flap 😂

It would help to know what connector that is…

Here’s the TIS info on what I’m guessing is this connector. The ‘flap’ you’re referring to doesn’t open - there’s a 2-part locking method to remove the wires.
