Deals .. free up monthlies

Split with the wife. Getting hammered with Child Payments so need to free up some monthly income.

Whats the best deals on BMW, Audi or Merc about just now needs to be a family saloon, M Sport or equivalent guise and still drive-able / fairly enjoyable

I hear there is strong support on the 4 series right now.

I prefer Lobbs suggestion.

Although needs to be a family car as I have three kids I will have on an equal basis.

I really dont want to be down grading to something shit

Hate estates

The hatchback might do though as I dont need the boot so much just room to get the 3 sprogs in and out

'Getting hammered' on the child support, but still going on about how it's got to be a premium brand in MSport or equivalent spec, and brand new too.

In the real world, 'getting hammered' on the child support involves you running around in a 10 year old Kia, as a couple of my work colleagues could confirm.

Good deals on 520d Saloons or Tourings with the local dealers, or lease deals - see

From memory your 340i is only about 18 months old and it sounds like it should still meet your needs.

Have you investigated refinancing the pcp onto a personal loan? If you extended the term of this and got a decent interest rate I would have thought it should drop the payments a bit.

If you switch into another new equivalent BMW or Audi I think in the long term you'll only end up shelling out a lot more however good the deal might seem.

3s a d 4s deals I'm sure you know of, a few others below.

M2 No deposit £599

520d MSport Deposit £419 2.9%

X1 No deposit £299....118d 0%

730D Xdrive Msport £579 but £5k down 0%

i8 £9k down £869 0% this is actually good, used to be wait for it....£20k then £1k pcm!

Sorry hear about the split man, treasure that time with the kids.

EDIT only just seen the budget, wasa kidding with the 7 and i8. Hmm £299 is tricky, best looking outside of BMW unless your keen on an X1, 1serieis or entry 3?

Thanks gents.

Luckily I am getting the kids pretty much joint custody so will see them regularly which I am over the moon about, its hard enough never mind loosing them too!

The GC may be a good option if I can get to 300 ish,.

I tried the route of VT .. Im not passed the 50/50 yet so there estimate is £8k fee! no chance!

Also looked at putting couple of thousand into the existing agreement before things kick off but only minimal reduction, It appears I would be better using the same cash as a deposit on a good deal.

For the sake of saving a £115 a month it might be a lot of hassle but was trying to counter (as best I can) the money I am unexpectedly now paying out.
