Best site for downloading music onto hard drive

Evening

Does anyone have any decent sites where you can download music onto a pen drive rather than streaming the music from Spotify etc?

Cheers
Virge

You can buy software that will convert Spotify (or whatever) to MP3. I use this one and you get to keep the MP3's forever:

Nice one!! Might give the free trial a go! Does it work well with Spotify?

Call me a bit basic as I'm a technophobe, but how does this work??

I'm sure I'm not getting the most out of the functions of my car.

Any educating will be most appreciated.

I got the 3 month trial with Deezer for 99p, you just tell it what format you want it downloading as and what quality. Takes a couple of minutes to download an convert an album as well as the album art and then you put it a USB disk and upload the the car hard drive.

It's a bit naughty but it's only for personal use and I do hate how you lose all your downloads when you unsubscribe.

Why not just save the music for off-line use on Spotify, and Play from phone over Bluetooth?

I found it really annoying that you cant navigate to different albums in the menu with Bluetooth on Deezer & Spotify or the fact if one of those apps isn't active or playing up, you have to mess around with the phone while you're driving to get any music.

Never had these issues with Apple Music though but having a good selection on the hard drive is definitely my preferred option plus music play is instant.

Should work fine with USB and an Apple phone, just need Spotify and the BMW connected app on the Apple phone. I couldnt get it to work on my Samsung S7, ended up with an old iphone for this specific use.

Premium Napster is great. Add the album's individually as new playlists on your phone. They all appear on the idrive.
