Rashid, you're lucky. You ordered 2-335s and BMW turned them around fast. I ordered mine on Mar 31 and am still waiting for my production date. Enjoy your car.

I found out my 335 is on carnation ace too, my ca said that it will arrive at port July 16th ......then another 10 days to the dealership. Ordered on 4/6 arrive around 7/26, that's a total of 17 weeks >:O How are you tracking carnation ace? Marine traffic doesn't help much. |

My 2012 335i Sedan Timeline:
-April 1: deposit left at dealer -May 10: production number provided to me by dealer -May 29: order status changed to "production scheduled" code 112 This sure is taking longer than the 6-8 weeks my CA told me it would.... I'll update as more data becomes available. -FD |

Here's the timeline for my SA build.
3/10 - Order Placed 3/26 - Production # Issued 5/12 - Production Begins 5/29 - Production Completes 5/22 - Released to Carrier So it's been sitting at the port of exit for a week now. This saturday (6/2) will be 12 weeks since I originally placed my order (I was quoted 8-12). Depending what ship I get on and the stops along the way I'll be lucky to get it by the end of June. This is frustrating since my current lease ends on 6/11, so I will likely be without a car for a month. Good thing my wife is a teacher and I can use hers when school is out in the middle of June. Still, this wait is f'n ridiculous. |

I hope you stick on getting the F30! The more you wait, it will be worth it in the end after seeing all those videos comparing with the Audi and MB cars. Best wishes! |

Just ordered my first BMW
335i Sport Line Mineral Grey. Fell in love with it after doing the Test Drive for Team USA. Placed order with dealer the next day - and lucky I did. Dealer indicated I was fortunate to receive a 335i allocation as they have no more and don't know when they'll receive more. 4/23/12: Told Dealer to place order. 5/04/12: Dealer has allocation and placed order. Got Production Number. Status: Order Accepted at AG (111) 5/30/12: Status: Scheduled for Daily Production Pack (112) 5/31/12: Received Vehicle Inquiry Report from Dealer. Noticed a few errors (wrong trim color, extra options added). Dealer corrected errors and submitted changes. 6/01/12: Received new VIR and confirmed changes accepted by BMW AG. 6/13/12: Vehicle has entered production - received VIN. Status: In Production (150) 6/20/12: Status: In Paint Shop (152) 6/22/12: Status: Production Completed (155) 6/23/12: Status: Released to Carrier (182) 6/26/12: Status: Being Transported to Port of Exit (190) 6/28/12: Status: At Port Awaiting Shipping Vessel (193) 7/01/12: On board the Figaro (BMWUSA is still at status 193 - At port awaiting shipping vessel). 7/02/12: Figaro arrives at Zeebrugee, BE 7/03/12: BMWUSA 800 number now has car "In Transit" 7/05/12: Figaro leaves Zeebrugee, BE, heading for Southampton - looks to be 1 day behind schedule. 7/07/12: Just arrived at Southampton after behind moored 20 miles south off the Isle of Wright for 2 days. Three days behind schedule now. 7/08/12: Departed Southampton. Next stop - Panama. 7/16/12: Somewhere in the Atlantic - due at Manzanillo in 3 days. 7/19/12: Figaro arrives at Manzanillo, Panama. 7/20/12: Figaro passes through the Panama canal and promptly disappears from AIS tracking. Due at Corinto, Nicaragua on 7/22. 7/22/12: Figaro arrived at and left Corinto, Nicaragua (still no AIS tracking). Next stop, Port Hueneme in 6 days. 7/28/12: After 28 days at sea, Figaro arrives at Port Hueneme, my final destination 7/30/12: Looks like I've cleared customs and am at the VPC. Final W&W status: DELIVERED FROM.........PORT HUENEME, CA.....30-07-2012 07:30:007/31/12: BMWUSA On-line tracking at step 4 - Finishing Touches 8/02/12: Vehicle arrives at dealer 8/03/12: Pick up car at dealer [Total time: 101 Days] Last edited by drjake007; 08-04-2012 at 08:25 AM.. |

Vehicle delivered to the dealer today! Woohoo!
Fingers crossed for Friday pickup to enjoy it for the weekend. I'm being told checking it in and completing PDI usually takes 4 days. Is that normal? |
