Remember not everyone is wealthy or well off like you so try and respect that instead of diminishing the value of peoples pride and joy. Perhaps respect hasnt been something youve acquired through age so im gladly sharing that knowledge with you

Still valet joy rinding should be the least of ones worries. What they should worry about is door dings , scratches and other tom fuckery. Valet mode isn't going to protect one from that. One either valets and accepts those risks or doesn't. End of story.

I don't see the fuss about valet. If you're staying at a hotel in a city in the Northeast chances are it's either valet or the street. If you go to a parking garage few are self-serve, most have attendants that park and retrieve the car, which is the same as valet. If you're concerned about damage take a picture of the car from two angles when you drop it off. You may not have to. Valets have started doing that themselves, so people can't file bogus damage claims against them. I've never had a problem with valet, perhaps because I slip the valet a ten along with the fob.

A lesson I learned from friends who worked as valets. Always tip the valet on the way in rather than on the way out (or do both). They'll be much more likely to treat the car with extra care knowing they've already been taken care of rather than just hoping to get a tip at the end.
