I don't get it. In the cheat sheet, it says this code is for: "Unlock doors when engine is stopped. Allows single pull to open doors."

You wrote that you did not know how to add 5AC to you VO and VO Code your Car:

http://www.f30post.com/forums/showpo...postcount=4309

I provided the answer.

http://www.f30post.com/forums/showpo...postcount=4311

I do not understand what is confusing about this. If you want to try and get HBA (High-beam Assist working), this is your best option for doing so.

I have not already high beam assist, I just want it to start with the lighthouse.
for the time when it gets dark I must press a button to activate

Then look and code in FEM_BODY this:

FLA_AUTO_AKTIV = aktiv or automatisch

Weird thing is that all cars here are already coded so that the doors are unlocked when engine is turned off but still the drive away protection is enabled.
I guess I'll just have to try tomorrow.

Yes, that looks like the equiavlent code:

Comment = High beam assistant:
0 - FLA (or Kafas) not installed
1 - FLA (or Kafas) installed; activation with light switch in position A (Auto) possible
2 - FLA (or Kafas) installed; activation with light switch in position A (Auto) OR 2 possible

So was it already set to 1 or 2 and it doesn't work?

by default it is set to 1, I tried to put it on 2 but it changes nothing.

So there must be other things to code

Yes, you do, and new E-Sys with Patch / Token if you don't already have it.

PM sent.

I busted my thumb last night trying to remove that damn thing with channel locks. Once I got it out (previously used a flat head screwdriver to pry it out), I filed down the tab on the cable. Will try coding tonight and hope to hell it's easier to remove this time.

Hmmm,

EstCmDocumentCorruptException: Plain validity data and token validity data differ! EST file manipulated!

Any ideas?
