Satnav signal gone ,any help please.

Can anyone help me solve my loss of location on my satnav

It worked fine then one day my location was out by around 100miles yet still moved when I drove even if it was in the wrong location.

Since then it has lost total signal
No errors on display. I own bimmercode so unsure if I can find any through it.

I’ve updated my software in car
Installed 2019-maps ok
Just purchased a gps antenna to plug direct into my HU to eliminate cable or gps Fin issues.
But none of these efforts have worked.

I can manually input my location in the service menu ,
If I then input a destination is auto moves without the car moving
So as I drive it defaults back to me off the coast of Africa .

Has your microphone stopped working as well? Mine did that and it needed a new control unit.

Don't usually use it so never really noticed but will check and if so at least I know its the control unit, so thanks for that.

That looks like the telephone control unit (top right boot). I had the combox in the same location.

Thanks for clearing that up as I wasn’t too sure if it was the combox as it seems to be in the same location

If you have the NBT, then you shouldn't have the combox as that was CIC based systems. I had one in my HU_ENTRY F31 until I disconnect it and retrofitted a NBT.
