Looks great! What is your suspension setup? Considering this wheel and tire fitment for my new-to-me F31!

Running Eibach Springs and Koni dampers. Also will be selling the wheel and tire setup in the coming months

This looks awesome and is exactly what I want - I just can't decide between the EC-7s or the FL-5s. Second, and this is what I've been having trouble with... but Apex is pretty firm about 255/40 not working on the 18x9 ET30/31.

Do you have negative camber or any fender mods? I see so many people on here running 255/40/18 and saying they have had no issues with them or any mods, but I can't figure out why Apex doesn't recommend this.

The 255/35 they recommend is pretty short compared to stock diameter and even the 245/40 is a bit short. I know it depends a lot on the specific tire as well. I'd like to do Conti Extreme Contact Sports which have a 10.2 section with on a 9" wheel. I have x drive and am not lowered, though am planning a very subtle drop in the future. Looks awesome and I want to pull the trigger, I'm just tweaking about tire size.

No extras concerning camber and no fender modifications. I spoke directly with Apex about this setup and as you stated, they don’t recommend it. I needed a taller sidewall and took a chance on the 255/40. Regardless, I’ve not had one instance of tire contact with the fender or strut. Apex does a great job with their fitment guides but in order to comfortably make such recommendations, they have to be somewhat conservative to avoid issues.
