Thought I'd registered here. Apparently not.

Retrofitted genuine M perf lights (smoked ones) to a 2013 F31.

All working, brakes reverse etc, inner indicators didn't work. Whipped out ENET wifi adapter and Bimmercode, ran the LCI retrofit option at bottom (worked previously on a 2014 car)

This is where things go a bit fruity.

Car started popping to rear glass when braking, pressing auto start stop on / off.

Got car connected via a guy who realllly knows his stuff. Options for inners weren't present on the 2013-5 firmware the REM was on.

Updated REM to 2018 f/w and also reflashed the FRM and Boot module. Behaved for a while until a transmission fault popped up, BING, boot glass pops again.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this to happen? Would bimmercode have written data elsewhere to the car or is it pure coincidence.

For what it's worth, the rear main boot switch doesn't work, however the glass phenomenon started after the lights.

Update; this was a faulty switch on the glass.
