Umnitza's new projector bixenon lights
I ordered these lights from Umnitza to replace my halogens in my f30 (2014 328i). https://www.umnitza.com/projectorf30...r-halogen.html
I will be installing them this Saturday (weather permitting) and post pictures of them for you all to see. The assembly seems solid and well made. As far as i know they're plug and play and don't require coding. Will update Added pics View post on imgur.com more pics View post on imgur.com Last edited by vooonoo; 12-19-2017 at 03:32 PM.. Teaser
Ran out of daylight i started late, so it's not fully on but here to give you guys an idea of what they look like, these pictures do not do the lights justice though, they look so good in real life. Will update again when i'm finished and have a better camera, they are indeed plug and play, no error codes

No they're more pure white. My iphone camera is weird, I'll be posting pictures of them at night and during the day later this week with a better camera, by the time i get out of work it's pitch black.

Does the front bumper need to be removed to install headlights? I thought I read that somewhere...

Daytime pics, So far the lights are good, they are a lot better than the halogen. The visibility is so much better. The only problem i'm having is they are causing some interference with the FM radio at the moment when the DRLs are on. Other than that they're great. I tried to get the lights off, DRLs on, Low beam above the cut off, and near the cut off, then with the high beams on.

I am about to purchase a set of these, very curious on how they are holding up. Have you figured out the issue with the radio and the DRL's?

Any updates?
I have been wanting to upgrade the headlights on mine for the longest time and this seems like a good option considering it includes the bi xenon functionality. |
