Paint defect not covered by warranty

After dealing with my local BMW dealer with an issue with the paint on my 15 month old 435i. Today they informed me that BMW will not cover defect under warranty. Here is a pic of the bubbling paint.

I knew that BMW paint sucked but, this is just horrible. I would try talking to customer relations maybe they can do something.
