I finally got around to doing some coding on my '14 F30. Bought an Ethernet to OBDII cable on eBay and downloaded E-Sys v3.27.1 and the associated Launcher on my Windows 10 laptop.

The software UI looked a bit different from the examples I had (software was a newer version), but close enough that I could follow it easily. My main objectives for this first pass were:

• Auto fold/unfold outside mirrors on locking/unlocking
• Show actual tire pressures for each wheel
• Eliminate navigation warning screen on startup
• Close sunroof on rain sensing
• Open/Close windows/roof from remote

I got all of them done. The only issues were:

- It took several tries until I got all seven parameters set/checked for the mirror auto-folding

- Have so far been unable to verify that the sunroof closes on rain sensing

Otherwise, all the changes are working as expected.

In addition to the auto-folding mirrors, my favorite is the tire pressure display. Here's a pic:
