Same experience here. I don't have the oyster interior, but do have everest grey which is a very light shade of grey and haven't noticed any sort of discoloration or dye transfer. I do clean my interior every couple of months but don't notice anything on the leather between cleanings.

I believe oyster / black interior will be available on the 3 series sedan starting after March production. At least that's what it said in the 2014 model year order guide that was posted on this forum.
I ordered my 2014 328i Sport Line last June (production date was July, so it was a 2014 model) and I remember really wanting anything other than a black or coral red interior. I saw the ordering guide and asked my sales contact if I could get oyster / black since it was on the order guide, and he also confirmed that it wouldn't be available until after March. It's possible they're just making internal changes to the website to prepare for this release, and a glitch showed the color combo. See http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=844159, page 4 of the PDF. LCOM is the option code, and you have to get it in combination with ZSL (Sport line). It says SOP is 3/14. Hope that helps! |

The discussion was not about the looks, we know it's amazing What about the maintenance, does it get blue from the jeans, how often do you clean it, etc?

I used the leather cleaner and leather milk from Swissvax as soon as I got it last June. Then again in November, before winter. It is due again now but I don't think it shows dirt or jeans color too bad. I am always surprised on how dirty the Swissvax applicator pads get but the leather doesn't show it that much.
