Keeping the door pockets scuff-free?
I'm a car care fanatic and go to great lengths to minimize the amount of work I'll have to do when I clean the car (which is 1-2 times per week).
I always try to be very careful not to scuff up the door panel when entering and exiting, but it seems to be a little more challenging than I'm used to with the door pocket bulging so much. It's still new and clean, but when I take my damp towel and wipe down whatever dirt I may inadvertently put on the door pocket area, I'm dismayed to see that the scuffs appear to stay behind. Seems like there is a layer that gets easily removed at the slightest shoe abrasion. I actually just picked up some Chemical Guys VRP for my E30 exterior trim and as a tire dressing, and I suppose this will be something I test on the door scuff areas but I figured I'd see if anyone has a clever solution. |

Are the door pockets near the speakers? If so, I can't seem to prevent myself from kicking it every time I get out of my car...
