Colour selection for m235 disappointing. Would have been to see an Individual blue selection but the factory apparently is not Individual equipped.

Actually our sales tax has been reduced to 13% from 15% !! We get screwed here on taxes but it's a great place to live; you can't have everything I suppose ! Better than the tax rate in a lot of European countries.

Red brake calipers and coral red leather interior would make this awesome. Does anyone know if that is possible? I mean the image in the announcement PDF had red calipers... Was it like this for last years 335 mperformance ed. ?
And why are we limited to black Dakota interior ... :/

S4 and S5 are cheaper in Canada

Starting price for these 333 HP cars:
S4, $53,000
S5, $55,900

Not sure why BMW is still dragging its feet without a proper S4/S5 fighter.
Why not make a M335i and M435i (RWD or Xdrive)?

can't believe Sparkling Graphite is an Individual color
it's a great color, better (imo) than Space Grey because it has multicolor flecks--and the reason I've had it 7 years

my '07 Sparkling Graphite 335

I'm digging the f30 but hard to justify when an m3 is so close in pricing.

the m3 that I configured was closed to 100k before tax. I think this special edition isn't too bad at all.

2015 BMW M4  [0.00]
I like it apart from the wheels and if BMW had made an Xdrive version optionally available on the M4 i would have had one of those in a heartbeat for what a fully loaded M performance edition is costing in the UK. I think that with the move to turbo engines with huge mid range torque it is inevitable that BMW will have to consider harnessing x drive in its future M models ?

Why are there not just standard M performance models for the 3 and 4 series like the 1 and 2 and 5 series?

How can an M performance 2 series then be upsold as an M performance 2 series again? Does that make it the MM235i?

This is getting really confusing. Good luck Canada

Wow!

Good editions.

Steel Grey and Sparkling Graphite. How much longer will the trend of the hundreds of gray tones.? The panorama is so boring neutral several people are tired of these.

Prefer a blue or red.

I can't believe that the 435 and now the 435 spec ed. have better color combinations than the M's !! So frustrating !!
I was actually considering dropping 5k for an individual M ext. color to get sparkling graphite and here it is, offered as a 'standard' Ind. paint color (presumably 1-2k) .. Grrrrrrrr. Just like the fact that the M5 has standard no cost Singapore Gray, yet I have to shell out 5k to get that on the M4 ... So frustrated!!! And no, I agree with the OP, Mineral Gray is WAY too pedestrian of a color and it doesn't suit me, so it's not an option.

"M235i M Performance Edition"

Could they pack a few more M's into that name please? I bet one or two more would raise sales, how about;

M235i M Performance M Edition
M235i M Performance M Edition M

Or even better

M2M35i M Performance M Edition M
M2M3M5i M Performance M Edition M
M2M3M5Mi M Performance M Edition M

More M's will equal More sales! M

...I'm a little disappointed that there will be a few more LSB's out there. BMW CA should have changed both the 2014 individual colours for the 2015 iteration.

And once again for the Americans in the room...the prices listed are in Canadian Dollars on Canadian cars, not US dollars on US cars, so the comments of "for that $ I would just get an M3/M4" - an M3/M4 might go for $75K in the US, but in Canada they are $100K plus taxes. So you're looking at another $25K or 33% to get an M3/M4 here. For a regular F30 fully kitted out in this M Performance format (with the $5,000 ind paint scheme), the Canadian MSRP is close to $75K. So $65K is already a deal and I didn't even pay that much for mine

You know initially I was scratching my head at this being something that would really be profitable enough for BMW to do. But I just arrived in my second home/Vancouver and it all came back. The number of people in BC alone that would take advantage of this is enough reason to do it.

Vancouver has a very high concentration of wealth within certain demographics and buying a $70k car is a non issue.

buying a top spec BMW 3 series in Canada is still less than a basic spec (+ local taxes) in Asia. A BMW in Canada is like buying a Civic.

Very very nice. I like that unique color theme with a lowered suspension.
