center jackpoint

Anyone tryed to jack up the f34 by the rear center jackpoint?
See most people use the diff on the other models but according to newtis the point on f34 is nr3 on the pic.
The newtis call this point the Bracing strut mounting block but is there another name for this, searches dont seme to give me something like the one in the pic.

I have used the diff and that specifc point on the F34 for various things, always using a piece of wood and only to place jack stands at the proper locations at the rear of the car ( location #2 on the image). Sometimes after the jackstands are supporting the weight ill use the jack at location 3 with minimal pressure as a "failsafe" point.

If i understand you correct you use the nr 3 only as a "failsafe" point after using the diff as lifting the car? Or have you used the nr 3 to lift up the car?
Plan is getting the car on jackstands doing some job on the brakes.
